Black tea is a type of post-fermented tea, also known as "Pu-erh tea" or "ripe tea". It is mainly produced in Yunnan and Sichuan provinces in China. The process of making black tea is different from that of green tea and black tea. It usually involves wet pile fermentation to produce its unique flavor and aroma. During the production process, the leaves of black tea are compressed into various shapes, such as tea cakes, tea bricks, tea tuochas, and tea balls.
